Stockaroo

Privacy Policy

Last updated 21 June 2026

This is a plain-language policy for an early-stage Australian software service. It is provided in good faith and is not legal advice. We will update it as Stockaroo grows. Questions: hello@stockaroo.io.

1. Who we are

Stockaroo ("Stockaroo", "we", "us") provides stockroom visibility software. You can contact us any time at hello@stockaroo.io.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information — your username and email address, and a securely hashed version of your password (we never store your password in plain text).
  • Data you enter — the inventory information you add to Stockaroo, such as products, quantities, locations, stock movements, corrections, notes and alerts.
  • Billing information — if you subscribe, payment is handled by a third-party payment processor. We receive a subscription status and a customer reference, but we do not collect or store your card details.
  • Technical information — basic logs (such as request and error logs) needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide and operate Stockaroo and your account.
  • To process your subscription and free trial.
  • To respond to support requests and send service-related messages (for example, password resets).
  • To keep the service secure and to diagnose problems.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share the inventory data you enter except as needed to run the service or as required by law.

4. Storage and security

Your data is stored on infrastructure we use to run Stockaroo and is protected by reasonable technical measures (including encrypted connections and hashed passwords). No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we take protecting your data seriously.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your account and data while your account is active. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing hello@stockaroo.io. We may retain limited records where required for legal or accounting reasons.

6. Cookies and sessions

Stockaroo uses a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

7. Your rights

Under Australian privacy law you can request access to, and correction of, the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email hello@stockaroo.io.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
